Owner/Broker
Charley founded Charles Umpenhour, Inc. with a simple philosophy: treat people like family and always do the right thing. More than 20 years later, that approach continues to guide our Palm Coast real estate team and the relationships he's built throughout the community. Outside of real estate, Charley enjoys RV travel, spending time with his family, caring for his flock of chickens, and tackling whatever project has recently caught his attention. If something can be fixed, improved, or built, chances are Charley is already working on it.
Savannah Umpenhour
Director of Business Operations & Broker Associate
If there's a problem to solve, a deadline to meet, or a moving piece to coordinate, Savannah is probably already working on it. As Broker Associate and Director of Operations, she keeps transactions, properties, and day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting clients through every step of the real estate process. Outside of work, Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, exploring new places, and grabbing a good cup of coffee.
Jacob Desing
Administrative Assistant
Jacob is an integral part of our Palm Coast real estate team, always ready to assist with anything you might need. Known for his can-do attitude and attention to detail, Jacob ensures every task is handled with efficiency and enthusiasm. When he's not in the office, Jacob enjoys gaming and exploring the outdoors.
Tara Hurt

A former teacher and natural problem-solver, Tara brings organization, communication, and a friendly face to every interaction as one of our assistant property managers. Her attention to detail and people-first approach help keep properties running smoothly while creating a positive experience for owners and residents alike. Outside of work, Tara loves family time, chasing adventures with her son, and getting ready for her newest role — girl mom.

Ray is a licensed real estate agent and a proud member of the CUI Family Property Management division. He has a passion for property management and genuinely enjoys helping owners and residents find the right fit. When he's not working, Ray is an active member of the Filipino Club and enjoys spending time with his cat, Tangerine.
Lauren Umpenhour
Marketing Consultant
Lauren is an Orlando-local marketing maven and data-driven storyteller who's worked for Fortune 500 brands reaching millions of online users around the globe. She's an expert in digital marketing, geeks out over the numbers, and is fueled by connectivity. Lauren is also the founder of an online company that helps entrepreneurs build magnetic brands and strategize how to grow and scale their businesses. Lauren manages our social media and is redesigning our website — we're lucky to have her on our Palm Coast real estate team.
Kelly Cheek

Born and raised in Palm Coast, Kelly has spent years building her real estate and property management expertise as one of our Palm Coast real estate associates. Her hands-on experience, local knowledge, and commitment to helping others make her an integral part of the team. When she's not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her child and staying involved in local events and community activities. She loves connecting with people and giving back to the community she proudly calls home.
Sue Poleski

As a real estate associate committed to customer service, Sue handles residential, commercial, and vacant lot sales. Sue is SFR certified in short sales and foreclosure procedures and has been active in real estate since 2005. A "Jersey Girl" at heart and a NY Giants fan, Sue is an active Red Hat Lady and participates in the annual Toys for Tots campaign, sponsored by the Flagler County Realtors Association.
Bill Paterson

Bill, a Florida native, began his career investing in real estate and contracting in Palm Coast, Florida (1975), after a four-year hitch in the US Navy. In 1985 he became a State Certified General Contractor, building hundreds of homes and duplexes in Flagler County. Bill has a passion for real estate and turned his focus to buying and selling commercial and agricultural properties in the 90s. Bill enjoys fishing, walking his dog, and playing golf.
